Publication Ethics
Psychostrategy: Psychology Journal and Military Dynamics adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and is committed to upholding the integrity of academic publishing. The journal follows the guidelines and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process—authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher—are expected to adhere to the following ethical principles:
1. Duties of Authors
-
Authors must present original, accurate, and transparent research findings, free from fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.
-
Submitted manuscripts must not be under consideration elsewhere or previously published.
-
All authors should have significantly contributed to the work and share collective responsibility for the submitted content.
-
Proper acknowledgment of all sources of funding, contributors, and relevant prior research must be included.
-
Authors are obliged to correct any errors discovered after submission or publication.
2. Duties of Editors
-
Editors are responsible for deciding which submitted articles should be published, based on originality, scientific quality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
-
Editors must ensure a fair and unbiased review process, free from conflicts of interest.
-
Editors must maintain confidentiality regarding the submitted manuscripts and must not disclose any information to unauthorized parties.
-
Editors should take reasonable steps to identify and prevent research misconduct, including plagiarism and unethical research.
3. Duties of Reviewers
-
Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to improve the quality of the manuscript.
-
Reviewers should not review manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers.
-
Reviewers must respect the confidentiality of the review process and must not use unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript for their own research.
4. Duties of the Publisher
-
The publisher is responsible for taking all reasonable steps to ensure the quality and integrity of published content.
-
In cases of suspected or proven scientific misconduct, plagiarism, or fraudulent publication, the publisher will work with editors to take appropriate corrective actions, which may include retractions or corrections.
-
The publisher supports transparency in publication and dissemination of research through open access policies and adherence to ethical standards.
Psychostrategy strives to foster a responsible academic environment and expects all parties to act with honesty, integrity, and respect throughout the publication process.
